Bark Avenue Pet Services is excited to bring fifteen years of experience in pet care to Galt, Ontario.

 

In 2010, "Pet Lover in Chief" Katie quit her job in the publishing industry to work in pet care full-time. Since then, she has had the pleasure of caring for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and temperaments. She has amassed an invaluable amount of experience in pet behaviour, body language, play, and handling.

 

Client skills? We've got those too. Katie prides herself on reliable, open communication with her clients about their pets' well-being. Happy to talk dog (or cat!) anytime.

In 2012, Katie completed an apprenticeship with Follow the Leader Inc., a leading positive reinforcement dog training school in Toronto. In the past, she has taught puppy classes and general obedience classes.

 

Katie's philosophy is that your pet's experience with her should be a happy one. You can rest assured that your pet is being handled safely, without force or intimidation, and with love, as Katie sets your pet up for success every step of the way!

Katie lives in West Galt with her husband, two boys, a Great Dane named Guinness, and a rescue cat named Leo. In her spare time (what spare time?!) Katie likes to read books, paint rooms in her house, and mess around with her sewing machine.
